Prescription drug crackdown results in Florida 22 arrest

Prescription drug crackdown in Florida Friday resulting in the arrest of 22 people, the U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder announced.

American companies plan new outlet mall in Kanata

American outlet mall company plans to open a 350,000 square foot shopping mall in Kanata as part of the expansion of Canada.

Based in North Carolina Tanger Factory Outlet Center announced Monday it has bought about 50 acres of land off Highway 417 at Palladium Drive, along with corporate Canada RioCan real estate.

The news release said it would be similar to the Tanger's 38 upscale shopping outlets in 25 countries.

"When fully completed, the project will-square-foot home to about 350,000 branded factory outlet retailers from the U.S. and Canada offer consumers a unique opportunity to buy goods directly from leading designers and brand-name manufacturers at great savings," he said.

There is no timeline given for the opening of the Mall, or the specifics of what could come in the store.

SANY to add 300 jobs in Peachtree City facility

SANY Heavy Industry in China is planning to add a center of research and development in the North American facility in Peachtree City, gov. Nathan Deal announced from China where he and officials from Georgia is on the mission economic development over the past week.

The expansion will add approximately 300 jobs, and the company plans to invest $ 25 million in the project.
